Our house is located at the beautiful Pointe West resort on the west end of Galveston Island. Pointe West is a master planned development with private beach and is a one-of-a-kind location on the island. Our house is less than a 5 minute walk to the beach and we are a 20 minute walk to the Beach Club, or a 5 minute drive. The Beach Club is truly a resort, with pools, a lazy river, hot tub, nature walk, restaurant, bar, fitness center, etc. The Beach Club charges $10.00 per person (3 and older) for the length of your stay from March 1 through Labor Day Weekend. There is no charge the rest of the year.

Don't let your time here feel like it is 'Wasted Time.' As soon as you walk in the front door, all your worries will melt away and you can focus on the important things - grilling, fishing, swimming, and relaxing. Our house enjoys beach views from the front steps and the back balcony. Gaze off the back balcony to a tranquil pond with a sparkling fountain.​

'Wasted Time' is designed to make you and your family comfortable. Cable TV and a DVD player are in the living room and the kid bedroom for your enjoyment. Both TV's are also equipped with Netflix. You'll find wireless high-speed internet and long distance calls in the US at no extra charge. Feel free to pack light, we have a washer and dryer for you to do a quick load of laundry.

Downstairs in the garage you will find everything you need for the beach; chairs, canopy tent, boogie boards and a wagon to take it all with you. You will also find a patio underneath the house complete with picnic table, chairs, hammock, and a charcoal grill for you to enjoy. All you need to do is bring yourself, we have the rest taken care of. For those of you with small children, we also have a stroller and pack-n-play for your convenience. We also have a 6 passenger golf cart that IS INCLUDED in your rental rate. Please feel free to use it to go to the Beach Club or to explore Pointe West. **NOTE: the golf cart CAN NOT be driven on the beach!**

We have everything you need for a fabulous vacation. Our kitchen is fully stocked. From new pots and pans to a coffee maker (with coffee), to silverware, and everything in between, we have everything you need to make breakfast or a Thanksgiving meal.

We provide all linens as well as shampoo, conditioner, and soap for each person. We also provide beach towels for every person in your family.

Kids are not forgotten. We have plates, bowels, utensils and plenty of games and coloring books for the most precious ones in our families.

Pets are also welcome. Our dogs are a major part of our families and we want all of our guests to be able to bring all of their family with them.
